Vocational high school students earned experience and made contributions to the country's economy as a part of the "Vocational Highs School Students Meet Families" project. Sometimes making people happy seemed as important as contributing to the economy.

Under the guidance of their teachers, vocational high school students provided services to the community as a part of their education in their own neighborhood.

Since its beginning, 47 thousand and 62 teachers and 136 thousand and 636 students paid 54,472 home visits to 198,514 people in the 81 cities of the country and reached 198,514 people as a part of this project.

73,893 students accompanied by 33,514 teachers visited 146,994 people in the first three months of 2022.

Students repaired broken ovens, television and refrigerators, painted houses and helped in home improvements during their visits. Moreover, they distribute their products such as tables and chairs to people in need. They produced medical devices such as wheelchairs and ventilators to those who need special care. They measured blood pressures and produced special shoes for children with disabilities.

Students also informed people about energy productivity, hygiene, fires and cases of emergency preparation and safety measures against disasters during their visits.

Moreover, they distributed bread they baked in the industrial kitchens established in 14 vocational schools affiliated to the Directorate General for Vocational and Technical Education during Ramadan.
