The studies carried out by the Ministry of National Education to improve the technological opportunities of schools increasingly continue.

Stating that supporting education and training processes with technological infrastructure is an important element for achieving the equality of opportunity in education, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said that while supporting the development of students with different learning types, interactive whiteboards for technology-supported learning makes learning more permanent. Özer stressed that the board also increases the teacher's expression and application options.

Announcing that the number of interactive white boards installed in classrooms in all public schools providing formal education has reached 560 thousand as of April 2023, Minister Özer said that this number will rise to 575 thousand with the completion of the installation of 15 thousand interactive boards in June. Expressing that it is planned to complete the installation of 45 thousand interactive boards by the end of 2023. Özer emphasized that the number of interactive boards will reach 620 thousand with the completion of the installation, and thus the installation of interactive boards in all classrooms actively used as part of the project will be completed.

Özer noted that interactive boards will continue to be purchased to meet the needs of newly opened schools as of the end of 2023, after the installation of interactive whiteboards in all classrooms in public schools providing formal education across the country is completed as planned.
