MORE THAN 11 THOUSAND FEEDBACKS CONCERNING TEACHING CAREER STEPS REGULATION WERE SUBMITTED

Feedback collection period concerning the "Candidate Teaching and Teaching Career Steps Regulation" that came into force after it was published in the Official Gazette on February 14 with the purpose of organizing principles and rules for training candidate teachers working in formal education institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education and teaching career steps, has come to an end.
 
Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stressed that the 60 year-long expectation was fulfilled when Teaching Professional Law was published in the Official Gazette on February 14 and it was the final touch to the improvements achieved in education in the last 20 years.
 
Meanwhile, the Ministry has prepared the "Candidate Teaching and Teaching Career Steps Regulation" draft in line with the law and shared it with the stakeholders from the official website of the Ministry on February 14.
 
"We have collected the views and suggestions of teachers, school administrators and other stakeholders of education concerning the draft. 11,363 views and suggestions concerning the "Candidate Teaching and Teaching Career Steps Regulation" were submitted to the Ministry of National Education between February 14 and March 15. We also requested 48 unions working in the field of education to submit their written views about the draft. We will decide the final shape of regulation after considering all views and take another historical step in education," said Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer.
