"Hundred Years and the Century of Türkiye from the Eyes of High School Students Symposium" will be held by the Ministry of National Education in order to better understand the achievements of the Republic on its 100th anniversary and reveal Türkiye's perspective on the coming centuries. The symposium aims to enable young generations to create a vision for the future by drawing strength from the past and to contribute to the raising of generations with universal and national values.
The symposium organized by the Ministry of National Education Directorate General of Secondary Education aims to develop students' skills that can form the basis of academic studies such as scientific thinking, research, preparation and presentation as well as to increase their interest in social sciences and sensitivity towards social issues.
The symposium will be held by presenting research on four main topics.
Research will be conducted within the framework of keywords such as innovation, entrepreneurship, economic development, industrialization, aviation and space, national technology move, ecosystem and renewable energy, artificial intelligence, automotive, R&D, domestic and national under the title of "Science, Technology and Industry". Research will be conducted under the title of "Hundred Years and the Century of Education" within the framework of the keywords such as history of Turkish education, 21st century skills, distance education, lifelong learning, education in disaster and crisis situations, teachers and students, and educational technologies.
Researches will be conducted under the title of "Our Values from Past to Present" within the framework of the keywords such as women, children, family, individuals with special needs, loyalty, patriotism, nation, climate and environmental protection studies, responsibility, diligence, justice, solidarity, hospitality, respect and friendship. Papers will be prepared through research under the title of "Culture, Art and Sports", within the framework of keywords such as History of Turkish sports, Olympics, cultural heritage, our ancestral sports, architecture, painting, music, theatre, cinema, literary works, vocabulary and cultural treasures.

The deadline for participation has been determined as November 10, 2023.
Students who want to participate in the symposium must send their papers to the e-mail address indicated in the specifications by the deadline specified in the symposium calendar.
30 students will make presentations at the symposium
After the evaluations of the incoming papers by the Symposium Paper Evaluation Board within the framework of the principles indicated in the specifications, 30 selected papers will be presented by the students at the symposium.
