GOOD NEWS ON THE APPOINTMENT OF 15 THOUSAND TEACHERS

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated in his social media account, "I would like to give very important good news to our teachers and all the education community. We will continue to make investments for the future of Turkey. We will appoint 15 thousand teachers in order to provide more qualified education to our children. I hope that the appointments will be a blessing for our country."

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his good news about the appointment of more teachers and went on to say the following:

"After the appointment of 20 thousand teachers on September 3 by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are extremely happy to hear his good news about the appointment of an additional 15 thousand teachers."

"On behalf of our teacher candidates, I would like to express my gratitude to our Esteemed President. I also would like to thank Minister of Treasury and Economy Lütfi Elvan and Head of the Strategy and Budget Presidency İbrahim Şenel for their support."

I have no doubt that this investment on human resources for building Turkey's future will increase the quality of the education system. With these new appointments, the student per teacher rate in Turkey will get our country closer to the average rate of OECD countries."

Noting that his Ministry will continue to work on appointment procedures and will announce branch distribution and appointment schedule shortly, Özer said, "I wish that the appointment of additional 15 thousand teachers will be a blessing for our community and country."
