DISTANCE EDUCATION IN LIFELONG LEARNING COURSES BEGINS

Distance education in lifelong learning courses began in selected pilot institutions.
 
First of course was the "Hygiene Training for Food and Water Sector Workers" program which will provided through distance education or blended learning method.
 
Program including fundamental concepts about elements and infections that pose a risk for human health, protective approaches concerning contagious diseases in food and water sector and hygiene training was designed as a distance education in line with the provisions of Hygiene Education Regulations and sensitivities of related offices and institutions. Digital learning materials of the course program were prepared by the Director General for the Lifelong Training.  
 
Participants who completed digital contents will receive certificates
Participants can apply to the course program through distance application at the authorized public training centers like applications for other formal course programs. Digital learning materials developed for formal training course programs can be seen in HBÖ Academy, the distance education platform of the Directorate General. Participants will receive certificates after they successfully complete digital contents and examination.
 
Participants will enter the system by using their e-state passwords. Within this framework, all transactions will be carried out by the Directorate General in line with the provisions of the Ministry of National Education Formal Training Courses Distance Education Directive prepared for effective and production implementation of distance education.
 
Directorate General for Lifelong Training will continue to develop e-contents which will be used in distance education process of other formal training course programs.
 
Director General for Lifelong Training Yusuf Büyük said that they have started distance education upon the direction of Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk adding that, "we invite those who experience social, psychological and physical fatigue during the pandemic and who have trouble in receiving different levels of training in various different fields to attend our distance education courses."
